In February of 2012, Deaf-REACH reached our 40 year milestone and as the Executive Director of Deaf-REACH, I am proud of the work we have accomplished over these many years. As with everyone, these last few years have been challenging but we were able to meet those challenges and have even began to expand into new geographic areas and explore possibilities of adding new programs to meet the needs of individuals on our changing society in which we all live.
What I feel most proud of here at Deaf-REACH is the strong commitment we have to the people whom we serve. Through the services we provide, we strive to work with each individual to reach their full potential and in doing so we continue to realize our own potential to be the best we can be.
In the year 2013 and beyond, our goals will be to expand our services to new areas including Maryland and Virginia, continue to invest in staff growth and development and to reach more people who need our help and support. We at Deaf-REACH are a family and know that these goals can be met through hard work and perseverance but we know that “Together We Can” do whatever we put our minds to do.
